PMEA District 7 Elementary Song Fest will be held at Cocalico Middle School this year!!! The date is Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Mrs. Burkholder (Denver Elem.) and Mrs. Helock (Reamstown Elem.) are hosting this event!! Anyone who would like to be involved as a volunteer should contact Mrs. Narehood by email.
Four students will be selected from our chorus to attend this festival. Students will be selected based on their performance in chorus and their second trimester voice assessment.
What is Song Fest?
Song Fest is a one day choral festival that brings together students in grades 4-6 from eight counties to share the joy of singing. A highly qualified specialist in children’s voices is brought in as a guest conductor to work with the students and present a concert. Students are selected based on their ability to be attentive and match pitch in the treble range. Song Fest is a wonderful experience for students and parents alike.
